Croustade aux pommes et aux poires

This apple and pear crisp without cooking is the perfect healthy dessert (or even breakfast!). To be served preferably slightly heated, with an ice-cream side-by-side and friends to share.

  • 2 cups sliced ​​apples
  • 2 cups sliced ​​pears
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil
  • 1/3 c maple syrup
  • 1/4 c almond milk
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt


  • 3 medjool dates, pitted and chopped
  • 1/3 c walnuts, chopped
  • 1/3 c. pecan nuts, chopped
  1. Prepare and measure all your ingredients
  2. In a large saucepan, sauté apples and pears in coconut oil for two minutes
  3. Add maple syrup, almond milk, chia seeds, lemon juice, cinnamon, vanilla and salt. Once the ingredients are added, it cooks quickly, so it's best to measure all of your ingredients.
  4. Reduce the heat to medium and simmer for eight minutes until the liquid has reduced and the mixture has thickened.
  5. Add your toppings and serve hot. Ice cream is always a good option!
