“Rheintal” veal is known as
“veau sous mere” this means that it is raised under its mother.

They are raised cruelty free, roaming with
their mothers. Since they live freely with their mothers in the
field they’re allowed to graze, unlike conventional veal calves
that are immediately confined in boxes and force fed synthetic
milk, resulting in its pink meat marketed as “milk fed veal”.
Although our veal is extremely delicious and
tender it is not the same as the veal that most people are
accustom to. we suggest you try it, you may love it.
These animals do not receive any antibiotics
or growth hormones. Any animal showing signs of disease must be
treated homoeopathically or removed from the herd.

without any effect on quality.

our veal fresh and freeze it within 5 days.
Veal cuts:
Chops – cut 1” thick, absolutely amazing, juicy
and tender.
Minced – great for sauces and cutlets.
Cubes – for stewing and stroganoff.
Scaloppini – for Italian dishes, schnitzel too.
Osso bucco – very specific – Italian dish.

The best method to defrost all vacuum packed
meat including fish is to place it in the fridge one day in
advance of cooking or in a bowl of cold water for about an
hour.
Do not remove from package until defrosted.
